Kaizer Chiefs top goal scorers – 2023/24 season

Kaizer Chiefs are one of the most illustrious clubs in South African football history that are playing in the top-flight domestic league, the Premier Soccer League, otherwise known as the DStv Premiership for sponsorship reasons.

In this article, we will list the club's top scorers so far this season across the two competitions they've participated.

Kaizer Chiefs 2023/24 DStv Premiership

The 2023/24 season of the DStv Premiership is Kaizer Chiefs' 28th straight season in the apex league.

The club kicked off the league season against Chippa United in a match that ended 0-0 on 6 August 2023.

At the time of writing, AmaKhosi have played 8 league games and several of their players have scored goals of which we'll see the top scorers later in this article.

Chiefs did not only compete in the PSL this campaign, they also participated in the MTN 8.

Kaizer Chiefs 2023/24 MTN 8

Kaizer Chiefs played their first MTN 8 match against Cape Town City. The fixture was automatically confirmed at the end of the 2022/23 Premier Soccer League as Cape Town City finished in 4th position and Kaizer Chiefs finished in 5th place.

Molefi Ntseki's side defeated Cape Town City 2-1 before squaring off with Mamelodi Sundowns in the semi-finals.

The MTN 8 semi-final clash with Mamelodi Sundowns involved a two-legged affair. The first leg was played at Chiefs' home turf which ended 1-1.

In the reverse leg, Mamelodi Sundowns were 2-1 better than Chiefs which set up a 3-2 aggregate defeat for the AmaKhosi.

Across these two competitions, the club has netted goals and the goals have come from five players so far who have positioned themselves to help the club achieve their objectives for the season.
